Chevron and Texaco Area Recovery Effort (CARE) Program Expiration |
Dear Marketer:
On October 24, 2005 Chevron made available the 'Chevron and Texaco Area Recovery Effort' (CARE) program for Marketers affected by the 2005 hurricanes. The program components included the waiving of sign and EPOS rents, gasoline discounts for credit card customers, and assistance to repair or replace Chevron and Texaco primary ID and Lighted Price Signs (LPS).
Due to contractor backlog, we extended this program to allow Marketers more time to repair or replace hurricane damaged ID and LPS signs. At this time we are notifying you that we will continue to accept reimbursement requests through August 31, 2006, when the program will expire. If you have not already submitted the required documentation (invoice with station number and photograph of new or repaired sign) to your Business Consultant, we encourage you to do so right away.
This program was developed consistent with our commitment to support the communities where we do business. We hope you found the CARE program a value and that you have been successful in remedying damage caused by last year's hurricanes. Should you have any questions regarding the CARE program, please contact the Retail Marketing Center at 1-877-243-8457.
Sincerely,
Kent Cowan Financing and Relationship Coordinator
